Over the last 20 years, people have become more aware of the damaging effects of ultraviolet rays. A Bimini will drastically reduce your exposure to the sun, providing shelter from the weather. A Bimini combined with an enclosure can create an outdoor living space wholly protected from the elements.
Patino Canvas uses the best components to construct every project we create for our clients. For a bimini, we use Sunbrella Fabrics, high-quality weather, and UV-safe zippers and thread.
All stainless frame construction is the only way to properly build a bimini to provide not just shelter but to also provide safety should the frame be grabbed by a person that needs to stabilize themselves.
Each customer and boat we work with has specific needs and requirements for a bimini top. We aim to custom-make a bimini top to meet as many of your requirements as possible. We bend every piece of tubing in-house, allowing us to customize your top and plan for storage when you aren’t using it.
CUSTOM DODGERS
The addition of a Dodger to any sailboat is a welcomed addition. It will extend your season by blocking the wind into the cockpit. Manufacturing custom canvas is what we do and now John Patino carries on the business and the skills handed down to him by his father.
This level of experience and expertise allows us to design a dodger for your boat that will not only be aesthetically pleasing by complimenting the contour of your boat but provide the functionality of an integral piece of equipment. We consider the grab points, winch revolutions, halyard placement, chaffing, and of course, lines of sight as part of the criteria when designing your dodger
